(INDIANAPOLIS) March 31, 2010 – The American Family Association of Indiana PAC announced today it has endorsed John Waterman (R-Shelburn) for reelection in Indiana Senate District 39.
Since 2009, Hoosiers have witnessed dramatic changes in our country: the collapse of the economy, bailouts of banks and private industry, massive levels of new government spending and now the government takeover of health care. When Hoosiers go to the polls this year, AFA of Indiana predicts tens of thousands of Indiana voters will be looking for candidates who share their common-sense values. John Waterman is a true patriot – one all of us can count on to consistently represent the conservative values of Hoosiers in his district.
“I have seen people get elected to office and over time they tend to morph into a typical politician looking and sounding like all the others. John Waterman is anything but your typical politician. John has always represented the values of his district and his life experiences as a Sheriff, businessman and a father above any political alliances or interests. He takes these common sense conservative values to Indianapolis with him every day he serves as a State Senator. You can always count on John Waterman to defend the values of faith, family and freedom,” said AFA of Indiana PAC President Micah Clark.
Waterman, a former Sullivan County Sheriff, lives in Shelburn with his wife Cheryl and their six children.
“I strongly encourage Republican voters in Clay, Daviess, Green, Knox, Owen, Sullivan and Vigo Counties to support John Waterman in the May 4 Primary Election,” Clark said.
The AFA of Indiana Political Action Committee was formed in March 2006 for the purpose of educating voters about the candidates who embrace traditional values and issues that impact families, churches and communities.
