(INDIANAPOLIS) April 8, 2010 – The Indiana Right to Life PAC announced today it has endorsed John Waterman (R-Shelburn) for reelection in Indiana Senate District 39.

“Senator Waterman is a leader on life issues in the Indiana Senate,” said Mike Fichter, chairman of Indiana Right to Life PAC.  “He’s a rock solid voice that we can count on, and we will need that type of strength as we work to advance pro-life legislation in the next legislative session.  We encourage all pro-life voters to show their appreciation for Senator Waterman’s faithful pro-life stand by supporting him with their votes in May.”  

According to Fichter, endorsements are based on a variety of factors including long-time support of Indiana Right to Life and Waterman’s pro-life voting record in the General Assembly.

Waterman, an independent contractor and former Sullivan County Sheriff lives in Shelburn with his wife Cheryl and their six children.
